The company
The two professional organizations OVB (Orde van Vlaamse Balies) and OBFG (Ordre des Barreaux Francophones et Germanophone), in cooperation with Diplad, created the "Digital Platform for Attorneys" (DP-A).
The DPA is an online platform through which a Belgian lawyer can communicate digitally with courts, confreres and third parties. DP-A aims to serve 17.000 attorneys that are affiliated to the two professional organizations.
For the further expansion of the DPA, Diplad is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the team dedicated to support and maintain an innovative platform to connect our lawyers to the Court of the future.
The DPA platform is built upon Microsoft Azure cloud platform in which we host a variety of services. We started of with classic linux and Microsoft Windows deployments but are gradually moving towards containerized or even fully serverless implementations.
Next to our Azure Cloud platform we still maintain a number of legacy systems running in on-premises datacenters and consume SaaS based services such as O365 for our workplace services.
Job description
- Responsible for automation, optimization, documenting and troubleshooting our infrastructure components
- Close the gap between our Infrastructure Architects and Operations Team
- Take ownership of component lifecycle management
- Work with internal colleagues and external partners
- Oversee design and maintenance tasks on our infrastructure (cloud and on-premises), providing guidelines and documentation
- Document incident resolution steps, root cause analysis and putting in place preventive measures where possible
- Identify standard changes and build procedures to execute them
- Conducting proof of concepts
- Implement new processes and improve the existing ones
- Audit Operational Security Guides
- Help to adopt new technologies

- PKI
- Citrix and Terminal Servers
- scripting (bash, PowerShell, Perl …)
