The company

The two professional organizations OVB (Orde van Vlaamse Balies) and OBFG (Ordre des Barreaux Francophones et Germanophone), in cooperation with Diplad, created the "Digital Platform for Attorneys" (DP-A).  

The DP-A is an online platform through which a Belgian attorneys can communicate digitally with courts, confreres and third parties. DP-A aims to serve 18.000 attorneys that are affiliated to the two professional organizations.  

For the further expansion of the DP-A, Diplad is looking for a Functional Analyst to join the DP-A Services team. In this position you will bridge the gap between our business and our development teams.

General Responsibilities

• You communicate with our customers to identify their needs and problems
• You translate the business requirements into an IT functional analysis
• You check feasibility and expectations
• You challenge requirements
• You protect our guidelines and architecture
• You coordinate with the software development team
• You coordinate with external services suppliers
• You test and validate software releases
• You guarantee and protect overall quality of the solution
• You are an ambassador of our building blocks and products
• You act as a product owner of the solution

Operational Responsibilities

• Drafting and formalizing technical documentation hold no secrets for you.
• Documenting
• Training SD
• 3rd line support and root cause analysis

Profile and skills

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science (or equivalent through experience)
• Experience:
  
  • A minimum of 2 years work experience as a functional analyst (Medior)
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience as a functional analyst (Senior)
  •  You started as developer

• Familiar with waterfall and Agile/Scrum development
• Native speaker (C2) French or Dutch, with a very good level of English (C1)
• Ability to work in a small but dynamic team
• Self-organizing, proven ability to work in a SME
• You are able to transfer knowledge to support and operations
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Curiosity, energy and resistance to stress are also part of your skills
• You are analytical, able to anticipate business and strategic evolution
• You are diplomatic and consider yourself a born negotiator
• Solution minded and focused: driven to getting things done and solved and are not afraid to rolling up your sleeves. Never gives up.
